But I don’t see it as grindy as others seem to. I don’t typically have my sims live in the dorms, except the heir that is. Similarly Discover university is always fun imo. The CAS items are also amazing imo as are a decent amount of BB items. It’s neat taking them to career day, prom, trying out for football/cheer or clubs. If you wanna take sims to school or enjoy family play, high school years is really neat umo. CL feels like it can be used in multiple worlds rather than just the world it comes with. To be honest I’m not a huge fan of the world for SE but I love visiting it to snowboard and such. cottage living as a more mystical feel to it all where as SE definitely isn’t. I know you said it’s not on sale on steam, (fair warning I have no idea) can you download origin or EA app and download it that way? Island living is honestly such a great EP. Personally I love the idea of cats&dogs but when I had it on console I swear my animals were just always sick. Or if the kids hate homework they can complain about it. Like if the dad gets a promotion at work he can talk about it with his spouse. Like I just downloaded a mod that gives more social options, but they’re related to what the sims going thru.
So first question is if you’re not jumping for the $20 for an EP, would you be okay looking at mods? There’s so many mods that in general add so much more to gameplay.
